Sui is a Layer 1 blockchain built by Mysten Labs, a team founded by former lead engineers from Meta's blockchain research division. It uses the Move programming language and an object-centric data model that organizes information into independent objects rather than a single account ledger, enabling parallel execution so many transactions can be processed at once with fast finality.
