The paid alternative.

Honest version: no five-line receipt actually equals what CWN does. Here's the breakdown of what each service covers, what it misses, and what no commercial service offers at any price.

The closest paid stack

These five services together cost $3,538/mo — what someone might assemble to cover similar ground. Even so, gaps remain (see below).

ServiceCostWhat it coversWhat it doesn't
Bloomberg Terminal $2,400/mo Macro news, equities, FX, fixed income, mainstream financial data On-chain whale flows, token unlock calendar, per-coin confluence scoring, per-ticker crypto news NLP
Glassnode Professional $999/mo On-chain metrics: MVRV, NUPL, exchange flows, miner data, plus a derivatives suite (funding, OI) Editorial news & NLP sentiment, AI market briefs, per-coin confluence scoring, score-threshold alerts, regional sentiment map
Nansen Pro $49/mo Smart-money wallet labels, NFT flows, DEX patterns, on-chain perp positions, unlock schedules Editorial news & NLP sentiment, AI market briefs, aggregated CEX funding/OI/long-short, per-coin confluence scoring, regional sentiment
Whale Alert (Personal) $30/mo Whale transaction alerts on a handful of chains News, derivatives, on-chain analytics, unlocks, ChatGPT briefs
TradingView Premium $60/mo Charts, indicators, drawing tools, multi-chart layouts Every data layer above (whales, funding, OI, news, etc.) — it's a charting tool
Total$3,538/mo … and still missing what's below.

What the stack still misses — and what it'd cost to fill it

Even after the $3,039/mo stack, you'd still need to add these for full parity on the data layer alone.

ServiceCostWhy you need it
CryptoRank Pro ~$70/mo Token unlock calendar with vesting schedules. The dedicated trackers (CryptoRank, Tokenomist) gate the full calendar and alerts behind Pro tiers — another standalone subscription on top of your charting and on-chain stack.
OpenAI API budget $50–200/mo To synthesise a 6-hourly market brief from your data. The brief CWN generates uses ~$60/mo at our usage — we're not aware of a turnkey product that briefs off your own dashboard's data this way.
CryptoPanic Pro ~$25/mo Crypto-only news index. But you'd still need to write the NLP scoring + regional tagging layer yourself.
RSS aggregator + custom NLP build cost/mo To replicate CWN's 156 editorial feed coverage with sentiment scoring and dedup. News indexes (CryptoPanic etc.) exist, but we're not aware of one that bundles this exact feed set with the NLP scoring and regional dedup — mostly engineering time, not subscription cost.

Things no commercial service does

These exist only on CWN. We're not aware of any subscription product that offers them — replicating them means custom engineering, not buying.

Signal Confluence scoring
10 dimensions collapsed into one number per coin every few minutes. We're not aware of a commercial service that offers this composite — Glassnode publishes individual metrics; you'd build the cross-input scoring yourself.
Push alerts on score thresholds
Push notifications when a coin's confluence score crosses your threshold (default 75, tunable 0-100) or its trend flips. Platforms like TradingView alert on custom indicators, but we're not aware of a crypto product that alerts on a composite confluence score like this — Whale Alert sends transactions, not score events.
Regional news threat map
Country-level sentiment with macro/regulatory event tagging, built on top of CWN's 156-feed NLP layer. We're not aware of a competitor that offers this.
Multi-exchange reserve tracking (16 CEXs)
Glassnode covers a subset; CWN's view via DefiLlama spans 16 venues including Bitget, Crypto.com, MEXC, BingX, Robinhood. Replicating this means querying DefiLlama directly and writing the aggregation logic.
Direct stack
$3,538/mo
Plus $145–295/mo in add-ons for unlock data, AI synthesis, NLP-scored news. Plus engineering time for things you can't buy.
CryptoWorld News
£14.99/mo
Everything above, in one dashboard, with the things no commercial service does — confluence scoring, score-cross alerts, regional news map.

Numbers are public list prices as of May 2026. We're not claiming we replace Bloomberg or TradingView wholesale — we cover the crypto-data layers most traders actually need, plus things those services don't do.
